The cattery is owned and run by Kate and Mike Bloomfield and have been pet owners for many years.
Kate is a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) and works part time at Cat's Whiskers Veterinary Clinic, a cat only veterinary practice. in Worthing.
She holds the ISFM Diploma in Feline Nursing (ISFM Dip FN), ISFM Advanced Certificate of Feline Behaviour, Certificate in Advanced Feline Dentistry and is a Fear Free Practitioner.
The cattery is licensed by Adur Council and has a 5 star rating.

Dutch Barn Cattery offers modern, heated penthouse accommodation, set in our own garden. Our aim is to provide a safe, peaceful environment for your cats with high standards of care, comfort and hygiene.
All Cats entering the Cattery must be fully vaccinated, neutered and be up to date with veterinary prescribed flea treatment.

The Cat Fort has been designed by Cats Protection for use in their rehoming centres. They allow cats a choice of a hiding or viewing area. They are very popular with our feline friends!

- Food (most dietary requirements are catered for, but we do ask you to provide prescription diets or supermarket own brands)
- Bedding, but please feel free to bring your cat's own if you prefer
- Logs to scratch (on request)
- Ping pong balls, but bring your cat's favourite toy

- Heating and lighting
- Insurance
- Daily grooming
- Update by text or email if you would like to know how your cat has settled
- Lots of TLC!
Cats of any age and on medication (including diabetics) are very welcome. There is no extra charge for administering medication.
The cattery is open all year, including Christmas and New Year. (Please note, it will be closed for cats coming in or going home on 25, 26th, 27th December and 1st January).
The cattery will be closed for maintenance for a few days during winter. The dates will vary depending on prior bookings.
